CREATING EFFECTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
The importance of using furniture layouts which are conducive to the promotion of learning cannot be emphasized too much. It ranks in importance to that of good ergonomic furniture design and together encourages better work and improved results.
Planning such environments is often difficult for clients to achieve themselves because of inexperience of that process, the limited knowledge of the product choices and the constraints of the space available.
The following examples are designed to show what can be achieved over a number of subject areas. In all cases they are actual projects that we have undertaken using Nortek and VS furniture. They show the room plan which we produced and a photograph of the finished room.
We have in depth experience of educational room planning which we have been involved with since 1990. The company provides a free-of-charge and no obligation CAD room planning service to our clients using room surveys of existing rooms or architects CAD building plans. This, always in close consultation with the teaching staff and client, allows us to populate the areas with the most appropriate furniture to achieve the best results.
We hope that you will find these examples helpful and we are at your service to offer our suggestions for your project.
