The
architects’ plans need to be populated with the
proposed F&E to ensure that they fulfil the client’s
needs. This needs to be prepared at an early design stage
so that changes can be included into the scheme, especially
those that have an impact on the building design.
Leaving
the CAD space/room plans until the building is taking
shape often results in unnecessary additional cost, delays
in the programme and undesirable compromises. Our consultancy
process helps us to avoid this.

allows us to determine the client’s environments
which will motivate both staff and pupils. specific
needs, envisage pupil numbers, and implement DfES guidelines
such as Building Bulletin 82, with regard to room sizes
and preferred configurations.
By
having the best F&E package planned-in and budgeted
from an early stage, it ensures that the client achieves
the key objectives of BSF. Well considered room planning
