A Little Nortek History.
Nortek began its journey back in 1976 manufacturing specialist benching for the electronics industry.
It expanded into the educational furniture sector in 1991 with the introduction of a range of low voltage bench mounted trunking which is still manufactured to this day. Along the way it became the sole dealer for VS furniture for over 14 years. VS are the oldest educational furniture manufacturer in Europe having just celebrated 125 years of school furniture manufacture. The relationship between VS and Nortek Group is still thriving to this day.
In 2015 Nortek Group continued its expansion under new ownership serving the industrial and educational sectors. In 2019 Nortek Group became a UK dealer for Mirplay School, a Spanish based educational furniture manufacturer with a wealth of creative and innovative furniture solutions for the modern classroom.
To this day, Nortek Group remains as one of the foremost British furniture manufacturers shipping globally. We pride ourselves on not only maintaining the highest standards of quality in the industry but being able to create furniture to the customer’s required size, finish and specification.
